THE ROYALCHALLENGE

This is the collaborative workspace for the Royal Challenge. The taem of young environmentalists have taken up the challege of testing a number of community based tools and initiatives as the first step in creating a community action toolkit to reduce GHG (greenhouse gases) emissions.

The students will be using Climate Change Canada's 'One Tonne Challenge' as the initial basis of their community based initiative.

The team is preparing the ground for an official launch in January.

Below is a sample of how this section will work.

.This tool (wiki) enables you to create documents online, that can be edited not only by the author, but by anyone, anywhere in the world.

For example, there might be a compelling story about a neighborhood tree. It could start with a memory. Maybe something like this..... "Casey's favorite tree is in danger. Casey's grandfather planted that tree on the day he was born, and now it is threatened...... Casey is not going to take this sitting down. Casey and his buddies are getting the word out that this is just not on."
